"...Gold?" you say quietly. Edward stands up and heads for the closet, holding open the door for you. He was such the gentleman. You go in and he closes the door behind you. Before you knew it, you could feel his sweet, icy breath near your lips. "But what about Bella?" you asked just as you felt him move forward. "What Bella doesn't know won't kill her?" he said, brushing your cheek softly with his finger tips. "No Edward. She's my friend and I can't do this to her. I mean, you're hot-I mean really, really hot- but still." He put his finger to your lips. "Say no more. I understand that your loyalty to Bella is stronger than your desire. I respect that." With that, he placed a kiss on your cheek just as Emmett came to open the door. When you told Bella that you had played 7 Minutes and had chosen Edward, she had become worried. But you told her that you two just chatted and you and Bella remained friends.
